HSLC Result Not Releasing Tomorrow, Confirms CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Amid Rumours
Dispur, April 9, 2025:
Amid rising speculation on social media about the declaration of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination results in Assam, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has officially clarified that the results will not be announced tomorrow.
Addressing the rumours, the Chief Minister posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“I would like to inform all parents and students that the HSLC examination results will not be released tomorrow. Once the results are ready, the board will announce them promptly. Please remain patient.”
The clarification comes after several unverified reports claimed that the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), would release the Class 10 results on April 10. These rumours triggered anxiety among students and parents eagerly waiting for the official announcement.
The Chief Minister’s statement has brought clarity to the situation and urged everyone to rely only on trusted sources for updates.
As of now, SEBA has not issued any official notification regarding the result date. Students are advised to regularly check the official website — sebaonline.org — for accurate and timely information.
The HSLC exams are a significant academic milestone in Assam, and the results will be declared as soon as the evaluation and data processing are completed.
