March 16, 2025 – 9th Mile Nepali Basti Manja

A vibrant celebration of Nepali literature and culture concluded successfully on March 16, 2025, marking the end of a three-day event held at 9th Mile Nepali Basti Manja. The event, which took place on March 14th, 15th, and 16th, attracted a large number of attendees from various walks of life, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Nepali Culture.

The convention featured a diverse range of activities, including poetry readings, storytelling sessions, traditional music and dance performances, art exhibitions, and panel discussions on the evolution of Nepali literature and culture. A particular highlight of the festival was the gathering of renowned Nepali  artists, who engaged in thought-provoking discussions and shared their work with the community.

One of the most memorable moments was the poetry recitation session, where local poets and literature enthusiasts presented their work, highlighting themes of identity, culture, and the Nepali diaspora. Additionally, traditional Nepali folk dances and music, including the famous Tamang Selo and Jhyaure, added to the cultural richness of the event, leaving attendees spellbound.

Organizers of the event expressed their satisfaction with the turnout and the enthusiastic participation from the local community. “This event has been a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our literary traditions and preserve the essence of Nepali culture,” said one of the organizers. “We are grateful to everyone who participated and made this event a memorable success.”
