Guwahati: Assam Director General of Police (DGP) G P Singh has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the decision, as per an official order dated January 18, 2025. Singh’s tenure as CRPF chief will commence on the day he assumes charge and continue until November 30, 2027, or until further orders.
