The Hon’ble Governor of Assam, Sjt. Lakshman Prasad Acharya, has expressed optimism about the upcoming Vikshit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD), a reimagined version of the National Youth Festival (NYF) 2025. The event, aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of empowering youth for nation-building, aims to inspire the younger generation to play an active role in shaping a progressive and inclusive India.
During a meeting with Dr. Ranjan Kr Kakati, Director of Students’ Welfare and NSS Programme Coordinator, Gauhati University; Mr. Jangjilong, Regional Director of NSS, Guwahati; and Sri Dinobandhu Saha, State Director of NYKS, the Governor was briefed on the current youth engagement efforts in Assam for the VBYLD initiative. He emphasized the importance of maximum participation from Assam's youth to contribute to the program’s success.
