Imphal, Manipur - In a shocking turn of events, a chariot being prepared for the upcoming Ratha Yatra festival in Imphal was attacked by unidentified armed miscreants in the early hours of July 5. The attack occurred at approximately 12:30 am near the Sana Konung crossing, intensifying the already tense atmosphere in the region.
Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants arrived in a vehicle from the direction of Advance Hospital, discharged two rounds at the parked chariot, and fled the scene heading towards Palace Gate.
