Arunachal Pradesh:
Voting was conducted on April 19 for all 60 assembly seats. However, results will be declared today for 50 of those seats, as the BJP has already secured 10 seats unopposed. Chief Minister Pema Khandu is aiming for a third term, with the BJP fielding candidates for all 60 seats. The Indian National Congress is contesting 34 seats.
Sikkim:
In Sikkim, elections were held for 32 assembly seats. Chief Minister PS Tamang has expressed confidence in securing another term for the SKM. The SKM had previously ended a 25-year rule by the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) in the 2019 elections by winning 17 seats against the SDF's 15.
