New Delhi – Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on social media platform X that he chaired a high-level meeting to assess the security situation in Manipur. The meeting included senior officials from various agencies, underscoring the government's proactive stance on restoring peace and order in the northeastern state.
"Our government, under the leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, is firmly committed to ensuring peace and harmony in Manipur," Shah stated. In addition to these measures, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) will initiate dialogues with both conflicting groups in an effort to bridge the divide.
