A young brother and sister have gone missing in Panimur, Dima Hasao district, causing great worry for their family and the local community.
Ravi Kisan Chauhan, aged 12, and his older sister Kiran Kumari Chauhan, aged 14, did not return home after going to their school, Kokdanglansgo English High School, last Tuesday morning.
Their father, Ramsabitra Chauhan, says he sent them to school as usual that day. But when he learned they did not attend classes, he started looking for them everywhere. It has been four days now, and the children are still missing.
Chauhan has filed a missing persons case at the Diyungmukh police station. He is a resident of Bogorighat in Karbi Anglong but is currently staying in Panimur for farming work.
Police and many local volunteers are searching extensively to try and find Ravi and Kiran. Everyone is deeply concerned for the safety of the two young students who have been missing for several days now.
People are requested to share any information that could help locate the missing brother and sister so they can be reunited with their anxious family as soon as possible.
