Arunachal Pradesh, 5 April, 24: In a significant development, Longding Police in Arunachal Pradesh intercepted a vehicle shortly after the convoy of Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma passed through Kanubari in Longding district. The operation resulted in the seizure of a staggering amount of Rs 1 crore.

Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma, embarked on a four-day visit to various locations in Arunachal Pradesh, with Longding, Tezu, and Basar among his scheduled destinations. However, the visit took an unexpected turn when law enforcement authorities intervened.

The money allegedly belonged to an individual identified as Harshvardhan Singh.
