The unveiling of these projects, collectively valued at ₹483 crore, marks a significant step towards accelerating the socio-economic growth and infrastructural development of the region.
Among the noteworthy initiatives inaugurated by CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma are:
1. Road from Kuwaritol to Jakhalabondha via Silghat Road: A vital infrastructure project aimed at enhancing connectivity and facilitating smoother transportation in the region. 2. 150-Bedded New District Hospital at Jakhalabondha: An essential healthcare facility designed to cater to the medical needs of the residents of Jakhalabondha and its neighboring areas. 3. Renovated Gallery of Dr. T. Ao Stadium: Enhancing the sporting infrastructure of the region, the refurbished gallery of Dr. T. Ao Stadium will provide an enhanced viewing experience for sports enthusiasts and spectators. The stadium holds immense significance in promoting sports and nurturing talent in Assam.
4. Law College at Kaliabor: A significant educational initiative aimed at providing quality legal education and training to aspiring law students in the region. The establishment of the Law College in Kaliabor is poised to contribute towards producing skilled legal professionals and fostering legal awareness in the community.
