Assam Chief Minister dismisses possibility of Hiren Gohain leading anti-CAA movement, questions his activist role
Guwahati, Assam- 11 January, 24: In a recent statement, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma criticized Hiren Gohain, dismissing the possibility of him leading an anti-CAA movement in the state. Sarma accused Gohain of consistently positioning himself in safe scenarios and questioned whether he had ever experienced police brutality.
Sarma's strong words also touched on Gohain's lifestyle, claiming that he comfortably consumes bread and butter for breakfast while allegedly inciting others to protest. The Chief Minister concluded by expressing his perception of Gohain as a unique individual, emphasizing that he had never encountered someone like him before.
