Karbi Anglong Crackdown: 56 Driving Licenses Suspended in Latest Road Safety Sweep

KARBI ANGLONG, 19 December 2023: In a significant move to enforce road safety regulations, the District Transport Office (DTO) in Karbi Anglong has suspended an additional 56 driving licenses for a period of three months. This action comes in response to individuals violating the Motor Vehicles (MV) Act and its associated rules.

The latest suspension brings the total number of driving licenses suspended by DTO, Karbi Anglong, to over 500. The district is taking a firm stance to curb violations and promote adherence to road safety measures.
