Imphal, Manipur- 29 November, 2023: In a momentous development, the oldest armed group in Manipur, the United National Liberation Front (UNLF), has chosen the path of peace, renouncing violence to join the mainstream and embrace democracy. Manipur's Chief Minister, N. Biren Singh, expressed his sentiments on the matter, posting on social media to commend the UNLF's decision and highlighting the collaborative efforts towards a harmonious and prosperous future for Manipur and the entire Northeast region.
