RCRS Diphu Announces Recruitment for 3 Young Professional Positions

Diphu, Assam - 17 November, 2023: The Regional Coffee Research Station, located at Six Mile, Diphu Manja Road, P.O. Kheroni, in the picturesque Karbi Anglong District of Assam, invites applications for the position of Young Professional in the disciplines of Agronomy, Entomology, and Coffee Quality.

 Number of Posts: 1 each for Agronomy, Entomology, and Coffee Quality.

1. M.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Sericulture with computer knowledge (Consolidated remuneration Rs.25,000/- per month).

2. B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Sericulture or M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Life Sciences with computer knowledge (Consolidated remuneration Rs.21,000/- per month).

Age Range: 20 to 35 years.

 Responsibilities include field and laboratory experiments.

 Collection of samples from experimental blocks and coffee estates.

 Data entry of generated data into the computer.

1. Engagement as Young Professionals is on an ad-hoc temporary basis.

2. Service is terminable with 24 hours notice without assigning any reason.

3. Not entitled to HRA, CCA, DA, medical benefits, and interim relief.

4. Entitled to one day casual leave per month on emergency.

5. Absence from duty, other than one day of casual leave, will result in non-consideration of remuneration for that day.

6. Should furnish a declaration accepting the terms and conditions.

7. Report for duty within 15 days from the date of the appointment order.

8. The Coffee Board does not guarantee regular employment.

9. Work from Monday to Saturday.
