Emergency Cabinet Meeting Held After Police Officer's Tragic Death

Imphal, Manipur- 01 November, 2023: A police officer, Chingtham Anand Kumar, was killed. So, the government held an emergency meeting on October 31.

The government appreciated that people have been peaceful during the recent troubles.

Chingtham Anand Kumar was a police officer. He was killed while doing his job. He was helping to make a place for a helicopter to land. Bad people shot and killed him. The government is very angry about this.

To show respect to Chingtham Anand Kumar, the government will give his family 50 lakh rupees. The government will also help his family find jobs.

The government told the police to find the people who did this bad thing. More police have come to help.

The government said that it's important for roads and people to be safe in that area. They will check the area to make sure there are no bad people.

The government also talked about a group called the World Kuki-Zo Intellectual Council. This group said there might be trouble in the Kuki-Zo community. The government is not happy with them. They have asked the police to investigate this group.
