Chinese-Made Rifle and Incriminating Documents Seized in Successful Operation

Assam Rifles Successfully Apprehends NSCN Area Commander With Chinese Made Rifle in Tinsukia Operation

In a decisive operation carried out by the 23 Assam Rifles (AR), the arrest of NSCN area commander Ram Pradhan, also known as Ram Newar, unfolded during a clash on November 11 in Borgolai, Tinsukia.

The operation yielded a significant seizure, including a Chinese-made rifle, multiple SIM cards, and several incriminating documents. The arrested NSCN commander, Ram Pradhan, is implicated in a range of criminal activities, notably the extortion of funds in areas such as Ledo, Borgolai, Lekhapani, Bomgarha, Tipong Lalpahar, and Paharpur.

Presently, the detained militant has been handed over to the Lekhapani police by the Assam Rifles. Interrogations are underway as law enforcement seeks to extract further information from the apprehended individual.
