A staggering sum of over Rs. 4.19 Lakh Crore has been infused into the NER by various non-exempted Ministries and Departments under the guidance of Mr. Rijiju, who is known for his dedication to the region. He emphasized the monumental impact of Statement-11 in the Union Budget, which allocates 10% of budgets for 55 non-exempted Ministries and Departments to be channeled into the NER.
