Nine Candidates Unveiled for Mizoram General Elections
New Delhi, October 18, 2023: In a significant development ahead of the Mizoram elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its second list of candidates, comprising nine names. 1. F Vanhmingthaga - Contesting from the Tuirial (ST) constituency.
2. R Lalthangliana - Nominated for the Kolasin (ST) seat.
3. Judy Zohmingliani - The BJP's representative for the Tuivawl (ST) constituency.
4. Dr. Zonuntluanga - Will be contesting from the Chalfilh (ST) constituency.
5. Chawnghmingthanga - The candidate for the Aizawl North-III (ST) constituency.
6. F Lalremsangi - Set to contest from the Aizawl South-II (ST) constituency.
7. B Suanzalang - Nominated for the 21 Lengteng (ST) constituency.
8. K Vanialruati - The BJP's candidate for the 26 Serchhip (ST) constituency.
9. T. Biaksailova - Contesting from the 33 Lunglei South (ST) constituency.
Speaking to the media, BJP's Mizoram state president, Vanlalhmuaka, made several noteworthy statements. He clarified that the party is not anticipating the formation of a majority government in the upcoming elections. Importantly, he stated that the BJP has not entered into any pre-poll alliances.
