"I received them at hotel Radisson Blu and welcomed them home this morning," Minister Pegu stated in his tweet. His heartfelt thanks extended to the officers and other staff of the Assam Government who had traveled to Sikkim to assist in the rescue mission.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also posted on X, emphasizing the successful efforts to bring the stranded students back. "Despite normal routes being closed, we were able to bring back our students home in the shortest possible time through alternative roads, with round-the-clock coordination with the Sikkim Government," he shared.
