Preparations Discussed for Upcoming Events and Beneficiary Programs
Guwahati, Assam - October 07, 2023: In a proactive move, Assam's Honorable Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, led a virtual conference on 6 October 2023 with all District Commissioners (DCs) to assess the progress and preparations for several significant initiatives and events across the state. The video conference witnessed detailed discussions on the following key agenda items:
1. Amrit Kalash Yatra at Block Level (8th & 9th Oct):
The Chief Minister and DCs examined the arrangements for the forthcoming Amrit Kalash Yatra at the block level, scheduled for the 8th and 9th of October. This event holds great cultural and social significance, and its seamless execution is vital.
2. Distribution of Sanction Letters to Orunodoi Beneficiaries (11th & 12th Oct):
The conference also focused on the distribution of sanction letters to beneficiaries of the Orunodoi scheme, scheduled for the 11th and 12th of October. This program plays a pivotal role in providing financial assistance to eligible individuals and families in need.
3. Bicycle Distribution to Class IX Students (13th Oct):
