Imphal, Manipur: In a heartwarming initiative aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by labour card holders and their families, Chief Minister of Manipur, Nongthombam Biren Singh, recently spearheaded the distribution of benefits under the Special Scheme for Education and Children at Relief Camps. This generous endeavor took place at the Chief Minister's Secretariat, marking a significant step toward enhancing the future prospects of those who have endured challenging times.

Under the purview of this scheme, the Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board (MBOCWWB) has granted approval and sanctioned a commendable sum of Rs. 52,05,000. This substantial allocation is intended for the benefit of 1041 beneficiaries hailing from both communities. It reflects the government's steadfast commitment to addressing the immediate needs and long-term aspirations of its citizens.

Prior to this momentous distribution event, an earlier gesture of compassion saw Rs. 1000 disbursed to each individual in the relief camps. This financial support aimed to provide immediate relief to those grappling with the difficulties brought about by the challenging circumstances they found themselves in.

Speaking on this initiative, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh expressed his heartfelt hope that these actions would embody the government's unwavering dedication to the welfare and future prosperity of its fellow citizens. By prioritizing the education and well-being of labour card holders and their children, the state aims to empower them with the tools necessary to build a brighter future.

This initiative serves as a testament to Chief Minister N. Biren Singh's vision for a prosperous Manipur, where every citizen's needs are recognized and addressed.
