Distribution of Special 6th Schedule TET Marksheets Resumes Following Court Order

In a significant development, the distribution of Marksheets cum Certificates for the Special 6th Schedule Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in Assam, which had been temporarily halted, is set to resume. The decision comes after the Hon'ble High Court issued an order lifting the interim stay on the distribution process, allowing qualified candidates to collect their certificates.

The journey towards the resumption of TET Marksheets distribution began with a legal twist. The Hon'ble High Court, in its order dated August 23, 2023, had initially imposed an interim stay on the distribution process, which had caused concern among candidates awaiting their certificates.

Dr. Om Prakash, IAS, Member Secretary, SLEC, TET cum Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha, Assam, issued a directive to the District Mission Coordinators of various districts, including Baksa, Chirang, Dima Hasao, Kokrajhar, Karbi-Anglong, West KarbiAnglong, and Udalguri, regarding the resumption of TET Marksheets distribution.

According to the directive, qualified candidates are now eligible to receive their TET Marksheets from September 29th to October 10th, 2023. To collect their certificates, candidates must present their Special 6th Schedule TET - 2023 Admit Cards along with suitable identity proof. It's essential to maintain proper records during this distribution process. Any undistributed Marksheets are to be securely stored within the respective district offices.

This development signifies a positive step forward for the candidates who had patiently awaited their TET Marksheets.
