The inception of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign was a direct response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to action. On Sunday, August 13, in anticipation of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, PM Modi took to social media to encourage citizens to unite symbolically under the Indian flag by modifying their profile pictures. In a tweet, he emphasized the campaign's importance, stating, "In the spirit of the #HarGharTiranga movement, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and extend support to this unique effort which will deepen the bond between our beloved country and us."
