Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh:Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, expressed his admiration for the exceptional mixed band performance showcased by the students of Government Higher Secondary School, Jang, at IG Park, Itanagar, on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day. The Chief Minister's heartfelt post resonated with the pride and appreciation he felt for the students' efforts.
In his social media post, CM Khandu remarked, "A joy to watch the stellar mixed band performance by the students of Govt Higher Secondary School, Jang at IG park, Itanagar today. #IndependenceDay2023." The Chief Minister commended the students for their remarkable journey, hailing their initial training by the 3 Mahar Regiment of the Indian Army, stationed in Tawang.
As a testament to their dedication, the band's musical instruments and uniforms were funded under the MLA Local Area Development (MLALAD) scheme, serving as an encouragement for their perseverance.
The students' synchronized performance during the field show left an indelible impression on CM Khandu, who expressed his pride in their achievements. The event featured an impressive march past and captivating performances by cultural troupes, painting a vibrant tableau of the region's rich culture and tradition.
