The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish this hub of badminton brilliance is set to span a decade, with provisions for an additional ten-year extension. This long-term commitment underscores the government's determination to create a lasting impact on the sporting landscape.
The prime location for this center will be the Amingaon Indoor Stadium, selected for its world-class amenities and infrastructure. The facility is poised to house seasoned national and international coaches, as well as provide top-notch support services to nurture the athletes' growth.
Operational oversight and management responsibilities will be shouldered by the Assam Department of Sports and Youth Welfare.
