Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh: Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh graced the 'Meri Maati, Mera Desh' celebration at DK Convention Hall, Itanagar, with a profound display of patriotism and reverence for the motherland. During this touching event, CM Khandu unveiled the "Amrit Shilalphalkam" and called upon all citizens to unite in their commitment to 'Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat.'

Massive Participation: Arunachal Pradesh Joins Hands in 'Meri Mitti, Mera Desh' Celebration

CM Pema Khandu proudly shared that all 129 blocks and 2 urban local bodies in the state enthusiastically participated in 'Meri Mitti, Mera Desh' from August 9th to 15th, and 'Har Ghar Tiranga' from August 13th to 15th this year. This patriotic fervor resulted in the distribution and hoisting of approximately 5 lakh National Flags in every household across the state.

The celebration also witnessed the erection of 1805 Shilaphalkams, the development of 1900 Amrit Vatikas, and the planting of around 1,39,292 indigenous saplings throughout the state. Additionally, a memorial plaque was established at Amrit Sarovar.
