Swiftly acting on the information, the team apprehended a suspect and seized 498 kg of high-grade marijuana. Additionally, they confiscated one heavy vehicle suspected to be involved in the illegal drug trade.
On July 8, 2023, the arrested individual, along with the seized contraband, was promptly handed over to the Ambassa Police Station in Dhalai District for further investigation and legal proceedings.
