Manipur Police Detain 438 Persons for Violations in Different Districts of the State
In a recent update, the Manipur Police took to Twitter to inform the public about the search operations and checking conducted in the state. Over the course of the last 24 hours, the State Police and Central forces carried out thorough search operations in vulnerable and fringe areas across both valley and hill districts.During these operations, significant progress was made as 03 arms and 06 ammunitions were successfully recovered from the Imphal East district. Additionally, the police also dismantled a bunker, further enhancing the security situation in the region.
To ensure the safety and security of the public, a total of 123 Nakas or checkpoints were set up in different districts of Manipur, covering both the hill and valley regions. These Nakas serve as crucial points for inspection and monitoring, facilitating the identification of potential threats and violations.
As a result of these efforts, the Manipur Police have detained 438 individuals in connection with various violations reported across different districts of the state.
