ASSAM, 6 July 2023: In a significant breakthrough against drug trafficking, the Karimganj Police successfully apprehended four individuals involved in the illegal trade. Acting on reliable intelligence, the police carried out two separate operations at Nilambazar, resulting in the seizure of a substantial quantity of narcotics.
The diligent efforts of the Karimganj Police led to the confiscation of a staggering 10,000 YABA tablets, weighing a total of 1.024 kilograms. Additionally, they discovered and seized 12.5 kilograms of Ganja, further crippling the drug network operating in the area.
The accused, whose identities have not been disclosed, were immediately taken into custody and will face legal consequences for their involvement in drug-related activities. The Karimganj Police have initiated legal proceedings against the individuals, ensuring that justice will be served.
