Over the course of the past year, the Government has disbursed a remarkable sum of ₹4.5 crores to more than 1,300 youth groups. Recognizing the positive energy and potential of the youth, the Yess Meghalaya initiative provided them with an opportunity to pursue their passions and make a meaningful difference in their communities.
Through the financial assistance made available, these youth organizations have successfully organized a diverse range of activities including sports tournaments, artistic endeavors, and cultural events. These initiatives have not only promoted the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition but have also showcased the rich cultural heritage of Meghalaya.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma emphasized the importance of channelizing the youth's energy in a constructive manner. He expressed his satisfaction with the accomplishments of Yess Meghalaya, stating, "We understand that the potential of our youth needs to be harnessed, and through Yess Meghalaya, we have provided them with the platform to explore their passions and contribute to the betterment of our society."

The Yess Meghalaya scheme has not only provided financial support but has also facilitated capacity-building programs, mentoring, and guidance to these young individuals and organizations. By equipping them with the necessary resources and skills, the government aims to nurture a generation of empowered and responsible citizens who will drive the state's progress and development.

Looking ahead, the Chief Minister expressed his optimism for the future of the Yess Meghalaya program, highlighting the positive trajectory it has set in motion.
