These enterprises engage in food processing activities with an investment of up to 1 crore and an annual turnover not exceeding 5 crores. PMFME provides a wide range of benefits, such as seed capital support of up to 40,000/- per SHG member. Additionally, micro food processing units can avail credit-linked capital subsidies of up to 35% of the eligible project cost, with a maximum ceiling of 10 lakhs per unit. Furthermore, groups and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) of micro food processing enterprises can enjoy a significant 50% financial grant for branding and marketing support.
