Arambai Tenggol Condemns Killing of Naga Woman, Prominent group Arambai Tenggol expresses deep regret over the killing of Lucy Marem
In the midst of the ongoing unrest in Manipur, Arambai Tenggol has come forward to condemn the tragic killing of Lucy Marem, a Naga woman who lost her life in the Chandel district of the state. In a press statement released on July 17, the Arambais emphasized that the incident was neither connected nor related to the activities of Arambai Tenggol.

The Arambais, a prominent group in Manipur, expressed their deep regret over the untimely demise of Lucy Marem. They stated that their objective is to protect the future of all indigenous people in Manipur and that they are not irresponsible psychopaths, as some groups have depicted them.

Regarding the allegations against Arambai Tenggol in relation to Lucy Marem's killing, the statement described them as unfortunate. The Arambais expressed their disappointment that responsible bodies have made such accusations without providing concrete evidence to support their claims.

The release further mentioned the possibility of an intentional attempt to tarnish the image of Arambai Tenggol and make them a scapegoat. The group asserted that they are only a small collective of reasonable young individuals committed to safeguarding the culture and identity of their native land.

Arambai Tenggol clarified that they should not be held responsible for any illegal activities committed by individuals. They emphasized that the blame should be attributed to the concerned individuals and not the entire group.

In their statement, Arambai Tenggol appealed to the people of Manipur to recognize their kinship and blood relations, urging them not to take any actions that may result in regret later on. The group called for unity among the brothers and sisters of Manipur, emphasizing the importance of understanding and supporting each other during these challenging times.
As investigations continue into Lucy Marem's tragic killing, Arambai Tenggol remains steadfast in their commitment to preserving the culture and identity of Manipur. They urge the public to refrain from making baseless accusations and instead focus on finding the truth behind such incidents.
