ASSAM, 20 July 2023: In a significant development, a delegation representing the All Assam Higher Secondary Teachers & Employees Association met with state officials at Janata Bhawan to address various pressing issues concerning Secondary Education. The meeting aimed to find constructive solutions and foster a better educational environment for students and educators alike.
During the meeting, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions about several crucial topics that directly impact the quality of education in the region. The key matters deliberated upon were the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP), teacher recruitment, career advancement opportunities for graduate and postgraduate teachers, textbook availability in elective subjects, and the appointment of regular teachers.
