The FinAssam portal requires employees to submit the following information:
1. Date of Birth
2. Date of Entry into Government Service
3. Date of Superannuation
4. Pension Category - OPS or NPS
5. PAN Details
6. Spouse Name
7. Full Details of Last Degree Attained under Education Details
This move is part of the government's ongoing efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and ensure accurate record-keeping for all state government employees. By centralizing the data collection process, the FinAssam portal aims to simplify and expedite the management of employee information.
To facilitate the data submission process, the Finance Department has outlined the following steps to be followed by employees and Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs):
1. Employees can enter their data using the Employee Self Service (ESS) module available on the portal. Once completed, the entered information must be validated by the respective DDOs.
2. In cases where an employee is unable to enter the required details, the DDO can do so on their behalf.
3. Regardless of who enters the data, the DDO is responsible for certifying that the records have been verified at their end.
4. Once the information is updated and validated by the DDO in the system, it will be considered final and no further changes will be allowed.
