Hailakandi, Assam: In a devastating incident at Monacherra railway station in Hailakandi district, Assam, a 35-year-old man named Sajal Chanda lost his life on Friday morning. The unfortunate incident occurred when Sajal attempted to board the Bairabi-Silchar inter-state passenger train, which was en route from Assam to Mizoram.
Eyewitnesses reported that Sajal had been waiting at Monacherra station around 7 am, intending to travel to Silchar. However, while trying to board the train, he slipped and fell onto the tracks, tragically coming into contact with the moving train. The impact of the accident caused fatal injuries, leading to his immediate demise.
