Arunachal Pradesh: Anto Rukbo, a dedicated and passionate teacher hailing from Itanagar, has embarked on a transformative journey by founding the Arunachal Democratic Party (ADP) with a resolute aim of becoming the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Rukbo's decision comes after his relentless efforts in challenging the capital District Commissioner (DC) and highlighting the prevailing issues within the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

Rukbo garnered widespread attention for his unwavering stance against the compromised examinations conducted by the APPSC, which resulted in the unfortunate leakage of question papers. Displaying tremendous courage, he boldly confronted the DC in a public forum, urging a transparent debate to address the concerns surrounding the APPSC fiasco. By establishing the Arunachal Democratic Party, Rukbo seeks to confront these challenges head-on and drive positive change within the state.

The selection of the party's name, Arunachal Democratic Party (ADP), signifies a deep commitment to democratic values and the aspirations of the people of Arunachal Pradesh. The ADP aims to bring about substantial transformations in the state, with a particular focus on repealing the Arunachal Pradesh Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (APUAPA) and addressing the 13-point demands put forth by the People's Action for National Justice and Social Change (PANAJSC).

Despite his background as a basic English grammar teacher, Rukbo enters the political arena armed with a clear vision and an unwavering determination to make a difference. He firmly believes that establishing a political party in India is a straightforward process, requiring the submission of signatures from 100 individuals and a demand draft of Rs 1000/- to the election office. With the announcement of the ADP, Rukbo embarks on a new chapter in his inspiring journey, fueled by the unwavering commitment to bring about positive change to Arunachal Pradesh.
