In a show of solidarity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the accident site via an Air Force chopper, landing near Bahanaga Bazar Station in Balasore district, approximately 170 kilometers north of Bhubaneswar. Accompanied by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, he conducted a thorough inspection of the area. The Prime Minister also visited the injured survivors at the Balasore District Hospital, where he emphasized the importance of providing them with necessary assistance.
During his visit, PM Modi engaged in discussions with the Cabinet Secretary and Health Minister, urging them to ensure that the injured and their families receive all the support they require.
