Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio Extends Massive Relief Aid to Kangpokpi District
Kangpokpi District, Manipur: In a significant humanitarian effort, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio dispatched a substantial consignment of relief materials to Kangpokpi district today. The convoy, consisting of three trucks loaded with food grains and a fully stocked truck of medicine, arrived at Kangpokpi at approximately 1:00 pm.

The District Level Relief Committee, formed under the Committee on Tribals Unity, Sadar Hills, received the consignment in the presence of Minister Nemcha Kipgen and MLA Haokholet Kipgen at Brig. M. Thomas ground Kangpokpi. The Nagaland police accompanied the consignment trucks, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery.

Chairman of the District-Level Relief Committee, Lunseh Kipgen, expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Minister of Nagaland for extending a huge consignment of relief materials for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Kangpokpi district. Kipgen, speaking on behalf of the people of Kangpokpi and the IDPs, conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the Chief Minister's compassionate support during this critical period.

"On behalf of the people of Kangpokpi and the Internally Displaced Persons, I express my sincere gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for his compassion and benevolence towards the Kuki community. This substantial consignment of food grains and medicines will go a long way in alleviating the hardships faced by our people," stated Lunseh Kipgen.

Meanwhile, Ch. Ajang Khongsai, President of the Kuki Inpi Manipur, the apex body of the Kuki tribes in Manipur, also conveyed deep appreciation for Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio's support. In an acknowledgment letter, Khongsai expressed immense gratitude for the Chief Minister's humanitarian gesture during this crisis, emphasizing the heartwarming inspiration it provides to all.

The arrival of this significant relief aid from Nagaland brings hope and relief to the affected communities in Kangpokpi district. The generous contribution made by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio reflects the spirit of unity and solidarity in times of adversity, fostering strong bonds between the Kuki people and the state of Nagaland.
