Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu Reaffirms Commitment to Border Development
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has reiterated the government's dedication to the development of border areas, vowing to spare no effort in achieving this objective. During his five-day visit to the region, Khandu plans to tour various forward areas, including Bumla, Tsechu, Chumi Gyatse, Mago, and Jethang, in order to gain a firsthand understanding of the needs and challenges faced by these communities.
In addition to inspecting ongoing development projects, the Chief Minister is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to engage with local residents and gather their invaluable feedback. One village that holds particular significance is Tsechu, located near the Line of Actual Control (LAC). This village's picturesque landscapes, awe-inspiring waterfalls, and natural hot springs have a magnetic allure that draws visitors from far and wide.
Khandu expressed his enthusiasm for spending the night in Tsechu alongside the local population and brave soldiers of the Indian Army, viewing it as a celebration of the remarkable progress made in the final stages of development. The Chief Minister also embarked on a leisurely stroll along the shores of Lake Tso-Tsakpa, surrounded by breathtaking views of high-altitude meadows adorned with vibrant mountain flowers.
Moreover, Khandu dedicated time to interact with the villagers of Rho-Jangda, who are renowned for their warmth and hospitality. He found the experience memorable and appreciated the opportunity to connect with the local community on a personal level.

In a touching tribute to the unwavering commitment and valor of the Indian soldiers safeguarding the borders, both Pema Khandu and his wife, Tsering Dolma, placed pebbles on the "Heap of Stone Monument." This symbolic act represents their respect and gratitude towards the brave defenders of the nation.
The Chief Minister's visit also took him to the Bumla Pass in the Tawang district, where he witnessed firsthand the strategic importance of this border region.

Pema Khandu's visit to the border areas of Arunachal Pradesh showcases the government's strong commitment to the development and well-being of these regions. By engaging with local communities, understanding their needs, and honoring the dedication of the soldiers guarding the borders, the Chief Minister aims to ensure a brighter future for the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
