Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to Inaugurate 37 Schools in Assam
Assam Government to Inaugurate 37 New Schools Across the State.
GUWAHATI: In a major development for the education sector, the Assam government, led by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, is all set to inaugurate 37 new secondary schools across the state. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 19th and 20th of July, marking a significant milestone in the government's commitment to providing quality education to the youth of Assam.
Out of the 37 schools, 19 are Tea Garden Model Schools affiliated with the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA), while the remaining 18 are Adarsha Vidyalayas affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). These schools are strategically located in different districts of Assam to ensure accessibility and cater to the educational needs of diverse communities.

The Tea Garden Model Schools aim to provide quality education to students from tea garden communities. These schools are equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities to offer a conducive learning environment. The Adarsha Vidyalayas, on the other hand, follow the CBSE curriculum and focus on providing holistic education to students.
