Guwahati: The eagerly awaited results of the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2023 have been officially announced today, offering aspiring candidates a chance to shape their future. The results can be accessed on the official website of Assam Science and Technology University (http://astu.ac.in) starting from June 3, 2023. It is essential for all candidates to download their CEE-2023 rank card, as it will be crucial for the upcoming counseling sessions.

To obtain the rank card, candidates are required to follow a simple process:

1. Visit the official website mentioned above and locate the "CEE-2023 Rank Card" link here
2. Enter your application number and password.
3. Click on the "View Rank Card" button.
4. Voila! The rank card will appear on your computer screen.
5. Don't forget to take a printout of the rank card for future reference.

The CEE-2023 rank is determined based on the total marks obtained in three subjects: mathematics, physics, and chemistry. In the event of a tie in total marks, priority will be given to the highest scores in Mathematics. If the tie persists, the highest marks in Physics and Chemistry will be considered. Sequentially, the date of birth and alphabetical order of names will be taken into account.

For candidates desiring a photocopy of their OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet, an application must be submitted along with the prescribed fee of Rs 300/- before June 17, 2023. The fee can be remitted via bank draft made in favor of "Assam Science and Technology University," payable at SBI, AFC Branch, Jalukbari, Guwahati-781013, Assam. Applicants should ensure their Roll No., Name, and Address are correctly mentioned on the application. The Roll No. and name should also be written on the back side of the bank draft. The application, along with the bank draft, must be sent by speed post or hand-delivered to the Member Secretary, CEE-2023, at Assam Science and Technology University, Tetelia Road, Jalukbari, Guwahati-781013, Assam.

Please note that the photocopy of the OMR sheet will not be provided to any institution, school, or for display in print media for commercial purposes. Applications submitted on behalf of candidates or those found incomplete will be summarily rejected without further reference. The photocopy of the OMR sheet will be dispatched via speed post to the address mentioned in the application. The decision of the Competent Authority of the University.
