GUWAHATI, ASSAM: The Government of Assam, as announced by Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, has introduced the prestigious AUNONDORAM BOROOAH AWARD-2023 to recognize and reward students who have excelled in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination. Students who have secured 75% and above marks in the examination are eligible to apply for this esteemed accolade.
Education Minister Ranoj Pegu expressed the government's commitment to promoting academic excellence and motivating students to reach their full potential. The AUNONDORAM BOROOAH AWARD-2023 aims to honor outstanding students and inspire others to strive for greatness in their academic pursuits.
To apply for the award, eligible students must register their names on the official portal dedicated to the HSLC Examination. Minister Ranoj Pegu highlighted the importance of timely registration and urged students who have not yet completed the process to visit the dedicated portal at smbform.in/SEBA_HSLC/ and submit their applications before the deadline.
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:
Kindly go through the following instructions carefully before proceeding:
1. Star or Distinctions holders in the HSLC Examination, 2023 are eligible to login and apply through this portal. However, if you are unable to login in spite of being eligible, kindly contact the given helpline numbers, or you can also visit the District Inspector Of School's Office with your details.

3. Make sure that you type the Roll and Number correctly as per your Admit Card. Also, enter your Date of Birth (DOB) using the calendar tool. The DOB should exactly match with your Admit Card.
4. Candidates should have a Bank Account in his/her name (As per your Admit Card). Bank account in any other name or identity will not be accepted.
5. Kindly keep a scanned image of the front page of your Bank Passbook with you. The scanned image should have your name, account number, IFSC, and photograph clearly visible.
6. The technical specifications of the above scanned image are as follows:
Size of the document must be less than 200 kb.
Width (Horizontal) of the document must be GREATER THAN 400px.
Height (Vertical) of the document must be GREATER THAN 600px.
Document must be in .pdf Format.
Note: To resize the image, open it in Paint. Click on "Resize," select Pixels, and specify Horizontal and Vertical values.
7. Before submission, please make sure that Bank Details are correct.
Please ensure that the candidate's name must match with the Bank Passbook.
