The long-awaited post-mortem reports of Junmoni Rabha have revealed shocking details about the incident that led to her untimely demise on May 16. According to the reports, Junmoni Rabha suffered injuries to the back of her head, suggesting the possibility of a planned attack.
The post-mortem examination took place at Bhogeswari Phukanani Civil Hospital in Nagaon, Assam. The medical examiner noted that Junmoni Rabha's body was in a state of rigor mortis upon arrival, indicating that she had already passed away hours before the incident was reported. The medical examiner's report described multiple abrasions on Junmoni Rabha's knees, legs, elbows, and hands. There was a laceration or deep cut on her left forehead, along with laceration wounds at the back of her head, which revealed an underlying bone fracture.
Additionally, a reddish bruise was observed on her right lower chest and upper abdomen, as detailed in the report. The medical examiner concluded that the cause of death was hemorrhage and shock, resulting from head and brain injuries, along with intra-abdominal injuries and brain hematoma.
The findings from the post-mortem reports cast doubt on the initial explanation of the incident, which suggested a collision between Junmoni Rabha's vehicle and an oncoming truck as the cause of her death. The injuries sustained by Junmoni Rabha seem inconsistent with this explanation.
Moreover, there have been allegations of possible evidence tampering by certain members of the police force, indicating a potential motive to protect a fake gold syndicate. However, it is important to note that these allegations are currently unverified.
Considering the presence of open airbags in the car, as depicted in the accident site visuals, the likelihood of severe injuries to the chest and abdominal area appears minimal.
