The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recently announced the results of the civil services examination, revealing Ishita Kishore as the topper. Following closely behind her, Garima Lohia and Uma Harathi N have secured the second and third positions, respectively.

Mayur Hazarika's success story showcases his dedication and perseverance. Prior to his remarkable achievement in the civil services examination, Hazarika had already proven himself academically. He was a rank holder in both the high school leaving certificate (HSLC) and higher secondary (HS) examinations. Furthermore, he pursued his medical education at the esteemed Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, where he completed his MBBS degree.
Hazarika's educational journey also includes his time at Ramanujan Junior College in Nagaon district, where he completed his higher secondary studies. These formative years of education have undoubtedly contributed to his overall growth and success.
Expressing his feelings upon securing the fifth rank, Hazarika humbly stated, "I did not expect to get such a good rank. I am satisfied with the result now." His words reflect his modesty and highlight the surprises that life often presents.
